Her real estate career began in 1979 when she moved from Crested Butte, Colorado. Upon arriving, she immediately fell in love with the generosity and warmth of Lafayette’s people and culture. Not having any real estate contacts, she began knocking on doors and introducing herself as a new real estate agent looking for business. She recalls, “People took me in, shared a cup of coffee and took up my cause by introducing me to friends and neighbors who were interested in either selling or buying a home.” Teresa believed that through her tough perseverance and learning to work smart, combined with the warm and inviting spirit of the fine people of Lafayette, she would achieve success. And in 1979, her first year in real estate, she was named “Rookie of the Year.”
Teresa was sold on Lafayette as both a place to call home and to build a business. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University and received a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology, where she had the opportunity to communicate very closely with people and developed excellent listening skills and the desire to help those in need.
In 1992, Sharon began her career in real estate with Van Eaton and Romero. During that time, she received her Graduate, Realtor Institute and Certified Residential Specialist designations. Since 1995 to the present, Sharon has received gold, silver and platinum awards for sales production. Since 2000, Sharon has teamed with Teresa Hamilton, specializing in co-listing new construction as well as being a buyer’s specialist. In addition, she recently attended Star Power University where she learned new skills to confidently assist buyers successfully achieve their goals when purchasing a new home.
Sharon is a member of Asbury Methodist Church and Phi Mu Sorority and serves as president of House Corp.

During her four years at the university, Kasey was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and the Student Government Association where she served as college president. Serving within this leadership capacity, Kasey became acutely aware of her desire to work with people and help them through problems while instilling in them enthusiasm, reassurance and a sense of honor. After exploring many options upon graduation, Kasey decided to pursue a career in the Lafayette real estate market.
