Nicholas Pepper, owner and operator of NJ Pepper Construction, LLC has been in operation for 2 years, with a total of 8 years in the industry.  6 years prior to venturing out on his own, he was a project manager for a custom builder here in the Lafayette area.  His responsibilities included working with the sub-contractors and their scheduling, meeting with homeowners to finalize any finish decisions they needed to make, and everything in between. Once the homeowners took possession of the home, he was dedicated to addressing any issues that may have arisen after they moved in.

111 Portside Drive was Nicholas’ first spec home that sold on June 7, 2021.  He has had only 1 call back since the sale.  One room in the home was not cooling, so he immediately sent the HVAC company out to address the issue and all has been good since. He takes a lot of pride in building homes for his clients and appreciates the fact that it is their biggest investment.

Nicholas is licensed in the state of Louisiana and carries all applicable insurances required. His main goal is to make sure that anyone living in an NJ Pepper home feels confident they are getting a great home that will be here for decades to come.

Nicholas was born and raised here in Lafayette, graduated from Acadiana High School in 1996, attended UL for 2 years, and worked at Stuller Inc. for the next 10 years.  Then after spending the next 10 years in retail management, he decided to follow his passion in the home building industry. He is currently in the process of building a new home for himself here in Lafayette, while continuing to build his company providing excellent homes in the Acadiana area!
